MU Miracle Making Miracles

Mercer University partners with Children’s Miracle Network through an organization called MU Miracle. This student-led organization fundraises year around via peer-to-peer fundraising where all proceeds go to Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, MU Miracle students have hosted tailgates, toy drives, penny wars, egg-a-prez, and so much more to benefit our local Children’s Hospital.

On Saturday, March 16, MU Miracle hosted their main event called Bearthon, which is Mercer University’s Dance Marathon event. Participants fundraised additional money for Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, learned a morale dance, heard from local Miracle kids and their families, competed in friendly games like Hungry Hungry Hippos, went on a scavenger hunt, and celebrated their hard work to bring hope and healing to our local patients and families. At the end of the event, student leaders announced their grand total of money raised during the 2023-2024 school year. MU Miracle raised $33,590.47!
