An Update on a Former Champion

Keason was the 2021 Children’s Miracle Network Champion for Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. While you may remember Keason from years ago, he has progressed into an active dancing machine!

In July 2019, Tiffany noticed a strange lump on her 2-year-old son, Keason’s hip. Though emergency room personnel suggested an allergic reaction, Tiffany’s motherly intuition caused her to seek the advice of his pediatrician which resulted in an ultrasound and CT scan the next morning. Keason was immediately referred to the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, where they discovered a sarcoma that had spread from Keason’s left hip to his chest and brain.

In December 2023, Keason finally rang the bell to celebrate his “No More Chemo Treatment”. Keason continues to have follow-up appointments every three months with his doctors to make sure everything is on track. He is almost able to push these appointments to every six months. Keason was able to attend every football and basketball game at Northside High School in Warner Robins to support his big brother. In February, Keason celebrated his 7th birthday and completed his first basketball season! Keason’s mom, Tiffany, says, “Keason is a symbol of God’s promise. I continued to pray and not look at what was happening in the natural life but have faith in what God promised me.” If you ever see Keason, he is almost always doing the “Griddy”. Keason’s dream is to attend an NBA game and meet Lebron James. We celebrate with Keason and Tiffany on another birthday and clear scans!
