Celebrating Our Partners: All Partner Kickoff 2025
On February 18th, Navicent Health Foundation hosted the All-Partner Kickoff at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital to celebrate our Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners and announced our local 2025 Children’s Miracle Network Champion- Spencer!

Spencer’s story begins with an early diagnosis at 18 weeks in utero of Down syndrome. He was born on April 14, 2010, and at one year old, he was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. Spencer’s dual diagnoses create complex health challenges that require him to see a Pediatric Endocrinologist at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital.
“We appreciate the Children’s Hospital’s willingness to work with Spencer and meet him as his level,” says Pam, Spencer’s mom. “As a child with Down syndrome, Spencer has intellectual and developmental delays which make it difficult for him to express how he feels, describe his symptoms, or communicate his level of pain. The staff always go above and beyond to help him relax and make the visits a success.”
Spencer’s love for dancing, singing and attending a camp specifically designed for children with Type I Diabetes is a testament to his bright spirit, despite the challenges he faces.

Thanks to the generosity of our Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners and programs, we raised a total of $843,516 in 2024! These incredible contributions will make a lasting impact on the children and families in our hospital. Our new campaign, Making a Million Miracles, will unite our community in the pursuit of this ambitious goal. With the continued support of our corporate partners and programs, we are confident that we can make this goal a reality and help even more children experience the life-changing care they deserve.
